Pressure reducing valve

Pressure reducing valves equalise pressure fluctuations and pressure peaks in the public piping systems and provide uniform pressure in the building water installation. Pressure reducing valves can be integrated into filters. With a pressure reducing valve, for instance, the pressure can be lowered to reduce the water consumption or to spare technical equipment and valves and prevent malfunctions.

Filter and pressure reducing valve as per DIN EN 13443-1 and DIN EN 1567

Filters can be combined with pressure reducing valves. The compact design facilitates cost-effective and space-saving installation of filters and pressure reducing valves. As opposed to replaceable filters, with backwash filters the filter element to be cleaned does not need to be replaced. The filter insert is cleaned here through backwashing. During the backwash processes, the water initially flows through the filter insert just as in normal operation and during this, the contaminations are held back.
