MULTI-THERM thermostatic balancing valve

The MULTI-THERM automatically adjusts the hydraulic balancing depending on the temperature in circulation lines of the hot drinking water.

Circulation balancing valves must allow water to circulate at all times. Water must be able to continue to flow even after the target temperature is reached. Particularly for thermal disinfection, it is important for the water to be able to circulate continuously at a high temperature so that the circulation pump does not work against closed valves. These technical requirements are met by the MULTI-THERM.

With a factory setting of 58°C, the valve is fully open up to a valve temperature of approximately 53°C.

From 53°C pressure is lost due to the temperature-dependent cross-sectional change in the valve. When the target temperature reached, valve throttle position is set to its maximum, whereby a minimum volume constantly flows in the circulation system. The MULTI-THERM also supports the thermal disinfection.

Shut off, measure, drain

An immersion sleeve is integrated in the bonnet of the stop valve. A Pt 1000 temperature sensor (1) or a plug-in thermometer (2) can be used as an alternative to the attached handle. Temperature data can thus also be transmitted via the building management system or via the CONTROL-PLUS hand-held measuring device. Furthermore, a drain valve (3) can be installed on the MULTI-THERM to drain the line.
